Tourist Inn Benefit Committee

The Tourist Inn Benefit Committee was formed eight years ago. We are made up of the Tourist Inn staff, our friends and our families. Our goal is to help local children and their families in their time of need by raising money for them. Local and national businesses along with members of our community generously donate items for us to auction at our benefit. One hundred percent of all monies donated or raised through out the day goes directly to our child. Our previous benefits were held for Cierra Lugo, Justin Mackenzie, Trinity Wyman, Aaron Thomas, Tara Mitzel, Rylee Dorer, Shalah Saylor and Hunter Wallace. Our committee was recognized by the Jefferson Award for outstanding community service. Our child for this year will be Braxton Andres.

Jayden is a 3 year old boy born witha virus that left him mentally delayed, profound hearing loss, and uses a feeding tube. Jayden has also been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy.
Our committee continues to help and support charity events throughout the year. We now hold an annual ride in honor of Ed Krepps, a former member of our committee. All proceeds from this ride go to a local needy family. The United States Soldiers remain one of our top priorities to support. We send care packages monthly to our men and women in uniform. Please see our Friends For Freedom Page for details on any donation for our troops or send us an address for any one you would like us to send a package to. We encourage you to join us.
