We would like to thank the Marine League for their continued support
Hello all.
We wanted to send out a special thank you to Annette and our family at the Tourist Inn, the Hellam Volunteer Fire Dept, Officer Heaton and the Brame family for making Rylee's benefit so absolutely wonderful! Also to Granddad & Grandmom, Uncle B, Aunt Ker', Tyler & Alli, and our good friend Kelli and her daughter Jordyn for sharing in this special day. Your presense meant so much!
We started the day meeting Annette, Sean and his family, the volunteers from Helam FC, and officer Heaton at the fire house. From there Rylee and family rode in style up the street to the T.I. aboard the firetruck and Corbin hitched a ride in the back of the police car. There were lights and sirens all the way. Ry was a reg celebrity!
Once we arrived we were warmly greeted by the T.I's best----Santa, Mrs. Clause, Elves, and all of the gang and loving communitiy members who came out that day! The day continued to fill our hearts as we observed complete strangers donate their hard earned dollars for Rylee's benefit. Shannon and I can't even explain the love that we have been blessed with from so many people.
Sean Brame, an amazing 11 yr old boy who speaks for the Children's Miracle Network, donated two pieces of his very own artwork for the cause. They were beautiful and we are proud to say that we have his "Guardians" drawing right here in our home thanks to the couple who not only paid for this piece but then generously put in back on the auction block for bid! Thank you Sean! You are quite the inspiration! His other drawing was bought by a local establishment and we send our love and thanks to you as well. The individuals who bought Sean's artwork contributed a large portion to Ry's total benefit so we wanted to be sure that we acknowledged them. (We didn't ask permission to put their names in this update and we want to protect their privacy)
We also want to send a special thank you to White Jewelers who donated a beautiful 3 cross, 3 stone necklace that is absolutely beautiful! It stands for the T.I, the troups and Rylee! A generous man bid on this necklace and then turned around and gave it to Rylee to be able to give to her child some day! It still brings goosebumps to me. We had the pleasure of being able to personally thank this man and his wife and we were so touched by their support.
Patrons continued to buy some really awesome items during the auction and some even gave them to our family or to Ry after buying them. During this time of economical hardships you would have never known it at this benefit. The generosity and the sincere care that these individuals showed our family is nothing short of what this time of season is all about. "Thank you" just isn't enough---so for those of you who attended the benefit or who were there with us in spirit or prayer to support Rylee and our family---know that what you did for us will never be forgotten and we will forever be in debt to you. Also know that you will continue to see our family be involved with the T.I. and w/ the families that they will bless in the yrs to come! :)
There is certainly no way of thanking each and every individual who attended Ry's benefit but we hope that whomever reads this update can pass along our gratitude and we hope that you and your loved ones have just as blessed of a Christmas as I know we will have.
Much Love and Thanks,
The Dorer's XXXXX OOOOO
